CN02 OA11: Describe the water cycle in nature, recognizing water as a valuable resource and purposing actions they can take to protect water.

This worksheet is useful for students to do a "round up" of everything they learnt during the unit, about the water cycle and its stages. It is also useful for students to reflect and purpose concrete actions they could take to save water. 

Gifted and Talented Education is a wonderful topic! These students need differentiated curriculum in order to meet their needs, interests and abilities. GATE children needs to go beyond the learning standards!

Power Point para enseñar la lectura de la letra C (sonido fuerte) según Método Matte. Parte con una adivinanza sobre un camaleón, y se cuenta un poco sobre este animal para motivar la letra. Luego se muestran distintas palabras que deben ir leyendo de la forma: palabra completa- palabra separada en sílabas- palabra separada en letras- palabra separada en sílabas- palabra completa. Luego se muestra cómo se puede encontrar escrita y cómo se escribe la letra en mayúscula y minúscula impresa y ligada.

On this project, students get in the role of Scientists and follow every single step of the Scientific Method, in a guided way. They ask a question (guided), formulate an hypothesis (guided) and plant two seeds and expose them to different environments. They have to observe them and record their observations on a chart. Finally, they establish a conclusion and finally they do a final reflection. 

For younger children this project needs to be constantly guided by the teacher.

This rubric is to evaluate the project "Growing a Plant", uploaded previously. It is a detailed guideline that shows what is expected from students during this project, and it evaluates the learning process.

The evaluation is a multiple choice quiz on the topic of photosynthesis with 8 questions. It is designed to assess students' understanding of the key concepts of photosynthesis, including the reactants and products of the light dependent and light independent reactions, the enzymes involved in photosynthesis, and the importance of photosynthesis for energy, oxygen, and carbon dioxide. Also, includes one open question focused on the importance of photosynthesis.
