CN02 OA11: Describe the water cycle in nature, recognizing water as a valuable resource and purposing actions they can take to protect water.

This worksheet is useful for students to do a "round up" of everything they learnt during the unit, about the water cycle and its stages. It is also useful for students to reflect and purpose concrete actions they could take to save water.

This activity will let us learn about the damage that the trash makes to ocean and for the animals that lives there. It is importante to create this awareness since a young age in order to make them respect the water and the living things that are in there.
First you will watch a video called "A whale´s tale" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFPoIU5iiYQ and after that you will have to print a worksheet and circle the thing that can damage the ocean!!

Let´s all work together to take care of the water!!!

CN02OA09 Observe and describe some water characteristics, such as flowing, adapting, freezing, dissolving; some properties as being transparent, colorless and odorless.
This worksheet was made to identify the water properties. The students have to observe the images and label the pictures using the words from the wordbank.

Once they have learnt the main characteristics and properties of water, students apply their knowledge by recognizing the statements that are true about water, and correcting the false ones. 

This is a small experiment/lab you can use to work on the effects of water on different materials!
Before starting the experiment, you can also show other objects that are not in the worksheet and ask what they think it will happen, and then actually showing them what happens. Then, explain what they have to do in the experiment so they can work on it. 

This worksheet was done with my friend Carmen Ortúzar.

With this activity, teach the different changes in water states (evaporation, solidification,  fusion and condensation).

Student must  cut each example of the second page out and paste it in the correct phase change column.

Además, de forrar cada tarjeta con un papel plástico que permita la manipulación de la misma por parte de los estudiantes.
