En esta presentación podrás encontrar la información para repasar una parte de los contenidos de la priorización curricular de 3° básico 2020. También en mis recursos podrás encontrar la segunda parte y podrás tener la información para repasar antes de la evaluación diagnóstica. 

 Segunda parte del repaso de la priorización curricular de 3° básico 2020. En este archivo también encontrarás los contenidos estudiados y al finalizar un link de juego wordwall que desarrollé que te permitirá poner en práctica lo estudiado. 

Esta guía de trabajo es un tríptico con los pasos básicos para llevar a cabo el método científico en cualquier experimento y que los estudiantes dejen registro de su actividad experimental, investigación o laboratorio.

Esta guía de diseño permite llevar a cabo nuestro proyecto del ''Desafío lanzamiento del huevo''. Incluye todos los pasos de planificación y diseño, espacio para el dibujo y un listado para la organización de los materiales y responsabilidades. También incluye una instancia de autoevaluación del trabajo grupal. 

CN03 OA05: Explain the importance of using resources in a responsible way, purposing actions to reuse, reduce and recycle.

This is NOT an assessed activity. It is a "quiz" like the ones you find in social media or magazines, on which you get a score according to the answers you give. In this case, the score they get will tell students how conscious they are about environmental care, and it will encourage them to think about concrete actions they can take to make our planet a better place to live. 
At the end, the idea is for them to make a reflection and get committed with environmental care. Last year, it was used in 3rd grade, and students really liked it. They came up with really good reflections.

CN03 OA01: Observe and describe what plant need to survive, through experimentation, and relate this with its parts and structure. 

CN03 OA: Observe and describe some changes that plants go through during their life cycle (germination, growth, reproduction, among others).

On this project, students get in the role of Scientists and follow every single step of the Scientific Method, in a guided way. They ask a question (guided), formulate an hypothesis (guided) and plant two seeds and expose them to different environments. They have to observe them and record their observations on a chart. Finally, they establish a conclusion and finally they do a final reflection. 

For younger children this project needs to be constantly guided by the teacher.

CN03 OA01: Observe and describe what plant need to survive, through experimentation, and relate this with its parts and structure. 

CN03 OA03: Observe and describe some changes that plants go through during their life cycle (germination, growth, reproduction, among others).

This rubric is to evaluate the project "Growing a Plant", uploaded previously. It is a detailed guideline that shows what is expected from students during this project, and it evaluates the learning process.

CN03 OA08: Identify natural and artificial sources of light, and classify objects according to these criteria.

CN03 OA09: Investigate through experimentation to explain some characteristics and properties of light, such as traveling in a straight line, capacity to reflect and refract, separation in seven colours, among others.

CN03 OA10: Investigate through experimentation to explain some characteristics and properties of sound, such as traveling in waves and in all directions, reflection, absorption, pitch, volume, among others.


This is a project to be done during all the unit of light and sound. The idea is for students to do experiments and discuss them as a class, to discover some properties of light and sound. They also should search for information in different sources (such as videos, Power Points, their notes, books, etc.), in order to complete the flipbook. The flipbook would be a final project, to be delivered at the end of the unit. 

Especially for young learners, this process needs to be very guided and it is important to give constant feedback to students, to evaluate the learning process.

CN03 OA06: Classify food, identify their effects over human health and purpose good eating habits for a healthy lifestyle.

Once students have learnt about the different food groups, nutrients and the function that each of them has in human body, this worksheet is useful to do a "round up" on this topic.
