Objective: Understand and follow written directions - Apply prepositions correctly.

Students look at the map and map key to understand the symbols. Then, they read the instructions and draw pictures on the map, correctly applying prepositions. This worksheet can be done individually by students, or it can be done together as a class, with the teacher's help, depending on the grade and level of autonomy of the class.

The following lesson has as an objective to review the three main theories of evolution: Fixism, Lamarckism and Darwinism (Natural Selection). The presentation starts with some definitions of concepts that must have been acquired for now and may be helpful. As closure, a small question is made about antibiotic resistance and a fun evaluated activity is proposed in order to evaluate the theories of evolution.

After they have watched the video once or twice, tell them to look at the pictures and to read the words from the word bank. Then, tell them to solve the crossword writing the correct name for the corresponding organs. Finally, you can play the video again, making some pauses if necessary, to check the students' answers. 

Objective: Identify regular and irregular verbs - Write verbs in past tense.

Have your students watch the videos two or three times before doing the worksheet. It is probably better if you watch and discuss the videos in the previous lesson, and not in the same one you will do this worksheet.

The idea of this worksheet is for students to relate regular verbs to "Ed the Time Traveler" and irregular verbs to "Irregular Sue", and circle the corresponding character, depending on whether the verb is regular or irregular. They also need to write the verbs in past tense.

To answer this challenge, students will have 10 cards with a short text explaining different celebrations around the world. At the end of the text there is a question that has the answer in another of the texts.

Students should record the answers and this will give them the clues for the keyword and answer the challenge.

The answer sheet has the presentation of the challenge and you also have a power point presentation. At the end of the presentation you will find 4 slides with some optional reflection questions.
