The goal of this worksheet is to hone critical skills such as reading comprehension and the analysis of information related to the behaviour and physical characteristics of human ancestors. Students will apply these skills to connect this knowledge with visual representations of skulls and various fossils. To achieve this, students will:

1. Begin by reading a text containing information about human fossils.
2. Observe images of human fossils and match each image with the appropriate description, providing justifications for their choices.
3. Proceed to construct a timeline that illustrates the evolution of humanity, with a specific focus on understanding the reasons for this evolution and its significance.
4. Answer open questions in order to understand the evolution of the human being, specifically why it happened and the importance of it.

In essence, this worksheet serves as a comprehensive exercise to help students explore the evolution of human beings by integrating textual and visual information, critically analysing it, and drawing connections to broader concepts.

The evaluation is a multiple choice quiz on the topic of photosynthesis with 8 questions. It is designed to assess students' understanding of the key concepts of photosynthesis, including the reactants and products of the light dependent and light independent reactions, the enzymes involved in photosynthesis, and the importance of photosynthesis for energy, oxygen, and carbon dioxide. Also, includes one open question focused on the importance of photosynthesis.

The evaluation is the first part of two, which has 20 multiple choice question that covers a wide range of topics in population ecology, including:

Overall, the evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of students' understanding of the key concepts in population ecology.

The second part is also found in my published materials.

This resource may be used as an assessment, or as a review. In the first part, students must identify the parts of a plant and the parts of a flower, the second part consists of multiple choice questions, and finally, on the last part, students must classify food according to the food group to which they belong and nutrients that they contain. On this last part, there might be some foods that could fit more than one space. I counted all of them as correct.

I will also upload a simpler version of this assessment, which you may want to use for your whole class, or you could use it for students with special need (if you have any in your class).

Both are great activities to do with students as a way to check how is the understanding of the topic or to assess it.
