CN02 OA2: Identify, describe and classify characteristics of invertebrate animals, such as insects, arachnids and crustaceans, among others, and compare them with vertebrate animals. 

This worksheet is a good chance to begin with guided investigation. 
The idea is for students to research about insects and complete the worksheet with the information they find. They don't necessarily need to research in books or in the internet, but they may also use worksheets, videos and Power Points from their Science lessons or their Science notebook to look for the information. It depends on the kind of activity the teacher wants to use it for.

I love this resource for the students, usually I would thell them is their turn to correct some exercises.
The idea is they have to look carefully at each addition, some of them are correct and some are not.
If the addition fact is correct they have to circle with red the sum and if it's incorrect they have to cross with blue the sum.

Use this cards as a fun game! Kids love to talk about fun facts about animals!
When I used them, I did it as a closure of my class. We were all sitting in circle, and some students took a card and read it. If they knew the answer, they said it, if not, we had a conversation about it. We looked for information, pictures and videos! They loved it!
