When reading, students sometimes have a hard time organizing their ideas about the novel theiy're reading.

The 5 w's, a classic resource to study news but also it can be helpful to organize information after reading a text.

Students usually are very excited to study or presentate about their favorite animal. With this chart from classroom doodles, they can put information about: 
-Facts of the animal.
-Habitat.
-Information.

-Name.

CN02 OA2: Identify, describe and classify characteristics of invertebrate animals, such as insects, arachnids and crustaceans, among others, and compare them with vertebrate animals. 

This worksheet is a good chance to begin with guided investigation. The idea is for students to research about crustaceans and complete the graphic organizer with the information they find. They don't necessarily need to research in books or in the internet, but they may also use worksheets, videos and Power Points from their 
Science lessons or their Science notebook to look for the information. It depends on the kind of activity the teacher wants to use it for.

Objective: Understand the migration process - Understand Cause and Effect.

After learning about animal migration, students identify three causes of this phenomenon, and write them on the graphic organizer.
This worksheet is also useful to work on cause and effect, and relate this strategy to what students are learning in Science.
