When we teach English, one of the interesting things to teach our students are traditional celebrations, foods or traditions from native English speaking countries. As we all know, the peanut butter and jelly sandwich is a classic plate from de USA and it's a very easy sandwich that you can prepare with your students.

A fun way to learn the recipe is by singing and dancing the song written by Joan Kan Sing. I assure you that you will sing it and dance it with your students once or twice and you will sing it all day long. I challenge you to prepare this delicious sandwich with your students and have a lot of fun!

The pdf includes pictures of children preparing and eating this special sandwich, the recipe and the song.

This is the second part of the Ecology evaluation. The open answer questions in this evaluation assess students' understanding of ecological interactions and the impact of introduced species on native populations.

Students are asked to identify four ecological interactions present in the Cerros Isla ecosystem and describe each interaction, mentioning the species participating in each case. This question assesses students' ability to identify and describe the different types of ecological interactions that can occur between species.

Students are then asked to explain one of the ecological interactions present in the text, indicating whether the interaction is positive, neutral, or negative for each participant. This question assesses students' ability to apply their knowledge of ecological interactions to real-world examples.

Next, students are asked to explain two ways in which introduced species alter native populations, including their knowledge of ecological interactions in their answer. This question assesses students' ability to understand the complex ways in which introduced species can interact with native species and impact native populations.

Finally, students are asked to give one example of an introduced invasive species and explain its impact on native flora and/or fauna. This question assesses students' ability to identify and describe the impact of introduced invasive species on native ecosystems.

Overall, the open answer questions in this evaluation provide a comprehensive assessment of students' understanding of ecological interactions and the impact of introduced species on native populations.

Hola! les dejo este tríptico que hicimos con los niños de segundo básico. Estuvimos aprendiendo sobre la fauna nativa y los efectos del ser humano en su hábitat. Ellos debían elegir un animal nativo en peligro de extinción, escribir sus datos e inventar una manera de protegerlo. Tiene hartos dibujos para pintar y espacios para que ellos dibujen. Ojalá les sirva y si necesitan tenerlo en otro formato, me escriben. 
Por si necesitan también tengo el ppt con los animales nativos que están en peligro de extinción y que usamos en clases.

Hola! les dejo esta guía sobre el cuidado de nuestra flora nativa. Previamente hablamos de la flora nativa y los efectos del ser humano en su habitat. En la guia deben pensar y escribir una medida para cuidar la flora nativa, por qué es importante cuidarla y dibujar una medida de protección.
Es muy linda y tiene un formato mas entretenido.

Hola!! Les dejo esta clase introductoria a la unidad de hábitat, flora y fauna nativa. Se les presentan los conceptos a los niños acompañado de imágenes y videos. Además, incluye una guia de trabajo entretenida.

Pueblos originarios para trabajar idealmente en segundo básico en la unidad: rela Clothes.
