I'm pretty sure you all know this story: "The Color Monster" by Anna Llenas.
The students can learn vocabulary about emotions but the most important is that they can learn to identify how they feel. Giving a name to their emotions will help them to communicate better.
You can do this worksheet after reading/listening to the story. Check this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6wIEp-M4tg MR. BROOKS READS
The students have to classify the emotions by coloring each jar.

Objective: Reading comprehension - Identify character feelings.

Before doing this worksheet, students need to read and/or listen to the story "Larry Gets Lost in Seattle". If you have the book, you can read aloud or students can take turns to read aloud, so you can check fluency and pronunciation.
If you do not have the book, you can find the story in the following link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIQX2AueJIE

After reading and/or listening to the story, students answer some questions and then they identify how Larry felt with the situation. Then, they complete a key by writing the name of the emotions next to some emojis.

Objective: Identify regular verbs in past tense - Read comprehensively

Depending on the reading level, grade, and level of autonomy of the students, the text can be read aloud by the teacher, students can take turns to read aloud, or it can be read and answered independently.
After reading the story, tell students to look for all the regular verbs in past tense (remind them about the "ed") and circle them.
Then, tell them to answer the questions on the second page.

I got this freebie from https://cositascalladas.com/guirnalda-del-monstruo-colores-imprimir
We used it after reading/listening to "The Color Monster". We displayed all the pictures (printed them in a smaller size), and the students chose the one they liked the most. They had to color it according to the emotion.
You can ask them to bring it home or use it as a classroom decoration.

I did this worksheet as a way to evaluate the "we love books" unit. We used it after reading a book together, but you can adapt its use according to your students age and ability. For example, you can give each student a book and have them do the activity individually. It's great for working story sequence!

This presentation includes many simple readings. They can be used for aloud reading or reading assessment or as an activity. I presented it and had the students read in silence. Each had to draw in a little whiteboard what the sentence said. After a few minutes, read aloud and check the pictures!

This is a short review about numbers from 1-100 in english. The idea is to go through them altogether and try to say them out loud. First, they repeat, then, they do it all alone.

After this, there is a small reading comprehension activity that was taken from the book "World Explorers 3" in order to practice the reading and to work with the different comprehension skills.

Trabajar "Letter A" con los niños de preescolar, enfocada en el refuerzo de la enseñanza bilingüe usando esta corta historia. Incentiva la lectura en los niños, pueden ser a través de un "repeat after me" y con el casco, incentivar en ellos la imaginación y que ellos se apropien del personaje.

This class will be very entertaining as students will learn to identify the characters in a story and where the story takes place through the book "Turtle in Trouble" by Bukku. After that, they will engage in a lovely project where they will identify the objective of the class.
