Flip flap books are amazing! They are a worksheet, but it feels like if they are doing a fun activity. Students have to glue each part of the plant and draw a whole plant on the other side, making sure that each part of their drawing matches with the part they glued.
The middle line is to fold it in half, and the dotted lines are the ones you need to cut.

You can complement this activity with this PPT.

This resource is in English. If you want the version in Spanish, here is the link ¿De qué se componen los seres vivos?
Are you looking for a different and engaging way to work with your students the cell?
This resource works that topic introducing it with the Thinking Routine I used to think... Now I think asking the student the question: What are all living things made of?
Then, they students will work both, the animal and the plant cell.
Finally, the teacher can assign the students a Google Form to evaluate the comprehension of the topic.
At this moment, the resource does not include a text to work the topic. The text will be added soon! (September 2021)

This activity will let us learn about the damage that the trash makes to ocean and for the animals that lives there. It is importante to create this awareness since a young age in order to make them respect the water and the living things that are in there.
First you will watch a video called "A whale´s tale" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFPoIU5iiYQ and after that you will have to print a worksheet and circle the thing that can damage the ocean!!

Let´s all work together to take care of the water!!!

¿Buscas una actividad para trabajar el tema de la célula de una forma diferente y que trabaje las habilidades de pensamiento de tus estudiantes? ¡Esta actividad es para ti!
Este recurso trabaja el tema de la célula siguiendo la rutina de pensamiento visible Antes pensaba... Ahora pienso... No se incluye el nombre en el título, pues la actividad introductoria le pide a los estudiantes que se imaginen de qué se componen los seres vivos y el título podría darles una pista.
Contiene:
  • Actividad introductoria: esta actividad busca desarrollar el pensamiento de los estudiantes, formulándoles preguntas y pidiéndoles que plasmen lo que piensan en dibujos siguiendo una variación de la rutina de pensamiento visible: yo pensaba... ahora pienso.
  • Texto guía: texto guía base, texto de profundización con más partes para estudiantes con altas capacidades. Ambos textos vienen acompañado de un video de YouTube con la lectura en voz alta
  • Identificar las partes de la célula
  • Explicar las funciones de las partes de la célula
