Here the student have say if the picture shows plural or singular things and say if the sentences is with they are or it Is.

Objective: Understand the importance of symbols.

Have your students watch the video "Signs Are Everywhere". You can find the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nbuhXghL6A

After they have watched the video once or twice, discuss with them about the importance of signs, tell them to give examples about signs they know, their meaning and get them to tell you why they are important. Then, tell them to watch the video again, and to pick 4 signs they didn't know before. Finally, tell them to draw the signs and write the meaning.

CN03 OA05: Explain the importance of using resources in a responsible way, purposing actions to reuse, reduce and recycle.

This is NOT an assessed activity. It is a "quiz" like the ones you find in social media or magazines, on which you get a score according to the answers you give. In this case, the score they get will tell students how conscious they are about environmental care, and it will encourage them to think about concrete actions they can take to make our planet a better place to live. 
At the end, the idea is for them to make a reflection and get committed with environmental care. Last year, it was used in 3rd grade, and students really liked it. They came up with really good reflections.

There are many  activities which allow students to practice and develop many reading-related skills. They are great for developing comprehension which is one of the most important reading skills. Many of the activities also call for higher-order thinking, like inferring or summarizing.
With his resource from Pinterest, students can synthesize the information about stories or even to study chapetrs of novels. 

Flip flap books are amazing! They are a worksheet, but it feels like if they are doing a fun activity. Students have to glue each part of the plant and draw a whole plant on the other side, making sure that each part of their drawing matches with the part they glued.
The middle line is to fold it in half, and the dotted lines are the ones you need to cut.

This little cards are very useful for early reading. They have a dot right under each letter and then an arrow all along. The dots are for segmenting sounds, so I tell my students they are buttons and they have to make the sound of the letter when you push them. Once they did all the sounds, they have to blend them while going throughout the arrow. It is very helpful for them to understand the blending and segmenting sound. I printed a few sets of cards, cut them, laminated them and put them together on a ring so they can use them independently in centers or to take home for reinforcement. 

Reflexive Pronouns are used when the object is the same as the subject. For example, in the sentence "he hurt himself", he and himself refer to the same person. Reflexive pronouns are also used for emphasis. In this case, they are referred to as intensive pronouns.

Objective: Identify parts of a sentence.

Once they have learn about the structure of a sentence, and once they are able to identify nouns and verbs, students can use this worksheet to apply what they have learnt, by identifying the naming (who) and telling (what) part of a sentence. 
They need to color the naming part with blue and the telling part with red.

Daily Routine's are an excellent moment to build confidence and let our students express themselves a 100% in English. This is why I always use Mind Maps and choose one of my students (the "mini teacher") to guide the routine. 

In this routine students have to present themselves, say how old they are, how are they feeling (emphasis in the vocabulary words wonderful, tired, curious, nervous and sick) and days of the week.

Daily Routine's are an excellent moment to build confidence and let our students express themselves a 100% in English. This is why I always use Mind Maps and choose one of my students (the "mini teacher") to guide the routine. 

In this routine students have to present themselves, say how old they are, how's the weather like (includes the vocabulary words sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, stormy, snowy and windy) and an invitation to sing the Month's of the Year song.
