We start playing a memory game with some some animals already learned (seal, tiger, polar bear, snake, parrot, monkey, giraffe and ekephant). In order to play this game you have to put the presentation mode and then click on the card you want to flip.
Then we learned new animals (zebra, hippopotamus, lion, bear). And at the end of the class you will find an activity where the students need to match the name of the animal with the correct picture.

It's great for practising listening comprehension but also to talk about similarities and differences. The story is about a polar bear and a penguin who live on opposite sides of the world. They are different but they also have some things in common...They live in cold places, they are vertebrates... Try to elicit some more answers from your students!
After your students have listened and discussed about the story, they can write some similarities and differences between Alex and Zina. I'd project it on the board and check the answers together. Since there are not so many similarities in the story, your students will have to use their previous knowledge about the animals.
