This Power Point is the second part of Total Physical Response routines. This are more elaborated responses and associated to each one of the body parts.

TPR is an approach to teaching language based on the idea that if you have to do something physical in response to language, then learning is more meaningful, and you also learn faster. This helps to memorize vocabulary in an easier and faster way.

Here there are some of the basic tpr movements that I commonly use with my kinder students. They totally love them!
One step forward is to use them for daily routines without the ppt. For example: Clap your hands if you are a girl, close your eyes if you finish your work, etc.

Good luck!

Here is the link to the first tpr ppt.

Are you looking for an exciting and inspiring activity to work on with your students during the International Women's Month? Your students will embark on a journey of discovery as they explore the incredible contributions of outstanding women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
This innovative interactive notebook will challenge your students to research, learn, and celebrate the lasting impact of these pioneering women in the world of science and innovation.
What is included?
  • Interactive notebook format with guiding questions.
  • Larger format for bulletin boards with guiding questions.
  • Interactive notebook format with blank spaces for students to include the information you want.
  • Larger format for making bulletin boards with blank spaces.

How to Use this Resource:
1. Interactive Notebook: Use the interactive notebook for each of your students to research a prominent woman in STEM. Upon completing their research, they can share about these women in a gallery walk.

Daily Routine's are an excellent moment to build confidence and let our students express themselves a 100% in English. This is why I always use Mind Maps and choose one of my students (the "mini teacher") to guide the routine.

In this routine students have to present themselves, say how old they are, how's the weather like (includes the vocabulary words sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, stormy, snowy and windy) and an invitation to sing the Month's of the Year song.

The five-finger rule is a strategy from a student agency to help early reader students choose a personal reading with the perfect difficulty for each one independently.

Tip: Paste this poster in the corner of the classroom library so that they can support themselves in the choice

Pick a Book: Choose one from your classroom library.
