Here you will have a fun activity to start the first aproaches to their names! Instead of using pencils or markers, they will use their finger. Before they go to their name, it would be good for them to practice with simple drawings!!

This Power Point is the second part of Total Physical Response routines. This are more elaborated responses and associated to each one of the body parts.

TPR is an approach to teaching language based on the idea that if you have to do something physical in response to language, then learning is more meaningful, and you also learn faster. This helps to memorize vocabulary in an easier and faster way.

Here there are some of the basic tpr movements that I commonly use with my kinder students. They totally love them!
One step forward is to use them for daily routines without the ppt. For example: Clap your hands if you are a girl, close your eyes if you finish your work, etc.

El recurso adjunto es una presentaciónde Power Point que les puede ayudar a guiar una clase basada en First Conditional, haciendo una antesala al uso de Will & Won't, luego una explicación del uso del First Conditional, además adjunto a la presentación se encuentra anexado un juego con preguntas y situaciones que usan como estructura gramatical el First Conditional, de esta forma los estudiantes refuerzan y practican lo aprendido. Daily Routine's are an excellent moment to build confidence and let our students express themselves a 100% in English. This is why I always use Mind Maps and choose one of my students (the "mini teacher") to guide the routine. 

In this routine students have to present themselves, say how old they are, how's the weather like (includes the vocabulary words sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, stormy, snowy and windy) and an invitation to sing the Month's of the Year song.

I did this resource to evaluate in a fun way two different characteristics of animals learned in class. I personally did it in first grade and it worked nicely. They had lots of fun and they got great grades!

This banner is the perfect craft for students to learn the months of the year. It comes in black and white so they can color it, cut it, make the holes and then create the banner that they can keep at their bedrooms or in the classroom. It is created for the Chilean calendar.

This is a PPT, which has a game. Students are going to see the picture of an animal, them a picture of what the animal eat, so depending on that they have to say whether if the animal is carnivore, herbivore or omnivore. I recommend you doing it as a review at the end of the unit.
