Gifted and Talented Education is a wonderful topic! These students need differentiated curriculum in order to meet their needs, interests and abilities. GATE children needs to go beyond the learning standards!

This is why I created this differentiation matrix that has different activities and assessments in the unit of life cycle. You can see the differentiation by readiness, interest and learning profile in the content, process and products.

This is a fun resource to learn the concepts same and different. After the teacher explains each concept and gives some examples, she/he invites the students to complete the girl's face to make it look the same and the cat's face to make it look different. Here I share with you some of my student's drawings.

*I usually use pictures to symbolize concepts or ideas. In the worksheet you will see a pair of identical shoes to  represent same and a pair of unlike socks to represent different.

Tendrás 15-25 segundos para encontrarlo y si no lo consigues en ese tiempo, puedes continuar hasta encontrarla.

Las atracciones turísticas pueden clasificarse en naturales o en aquellas creadas por el hombre. A través de esta presentación incorporamos vocabulario en inglés para denominar diferentes atracciones turísticas y además las clasificamos. 

El siguiente material es sobre los diferentes usos del 'get' ademas junto con ejemplos y ejercicios para realizar, es importante identificar su usos ya que esto puede ser confuso para los estudiantes, espero les sea de gran ayuda.

I love to take my students out, to another classroom or a different teaching stage. The idea is to go wherever you want and try to find different objects that are made of those materials. There are some objects that they might not be sure, but it doesn't matter, just what they think!
Before they go to a place, make sure there are objects for every material, and if not, place some in different locations.

At the end of the class, discuss with them what they found.
