¡Another set of task cards! This set includes 30 cards that exercise the representation of fractions. It's perfect to start with this topic. It also includes an answer grip and an answer sheet.

Objective: Understand the importance of symbols.

Have your students watch the video "Signs Are Everywhere". You can find the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nbuhXghL6A

After they have watched the video once or twice, discuss with them about the importance of signs, tell them to give examples about signs they know, their meaning and get them to tell you why they are important. Then, tell them to watch the video again, and to pick 4 signs they didn't know before. Finally, tell them to draw the signs and write the meaning.

This resource includes 12 cards with different problems that are solved thorugh addition, substraction of fractions. Others includes the representation of them. It also has an answer gris so the students can write their answers of each card. Is perfect to use on centers. 

This resource is very helpful to introduce equivalent fractions. Print one copy per student so they can paste it on their copybooks. 

Science is more fun when it's hands on! I used this worksheet as a hands on activity to teach my students about the density of the molecules in each matter type. To add extra fun, we used tissue paper but drawing circles would work as well!
