Este recurso es una presentación PPT, está enfocada en estilos de música del pasado y presente, utilizando USED TO para expresar ideas. Este recurso está basado en el currículo nacional de Chile para III° Medio en la Unit 3: The importance of the evolution of languages, pero puede ser utilizado para cualquier curso de Enseñanza media.

Objectives: To fill in the gaps with the words from the lyrics.
- To improve listening skills through modern songs .
- To acquire new vocabulary.
- Learn grammar structures such as : used to , past simple 

This Power Point was used to introduce the concepts of Big and Little in a PreKinder non-bilingual school.
When I taught the concept I used mimicry to make it easier to remember for the children.
It includes several examples and also a practice game at the end.

This Power Point was used to introduce the vocabulary of Our Body in a Prekinder (non bilingual school)

At first, you show each one of the body parts and say the name out loud. Student must repeat and point in their own bodies, the part that they are seeing.
After that, you choose some random students to come to the board and circle or cross some specific body part.

At the end, they have to come and point the body part that the teacher says.

This Power Point was used to introduce the vocabulary of Boy and Girl in a Prekinder (non bilingual school)

At first, you show each one of the genders and say the name out loud. Student must repeat and do the mimicry that the teacher does. This helps them to remember.

After that, you choose some random students to come to the board and point with some picture work.
At the end, there is a questions game with: Can you show me a girl/boy in this table?

This activity was used to practice the colors in Prekinder. It was used at the end of the class were we review every color learned.

Teacher shows the object in the board and says: Color the eyes blue, color the heart yellow, etc.

If you want to use it for a more advanced level, you can do it without showing the picture by giving direct instructions. For example: Color the bicycle green. So this way, they will have to identify the object and also, the color.

These are the circles I used to play synonym twister. Download them and paste them on the floor as it shows in the picture. Then, project the PPT and start playing twister!
The PPT I uploaded it before is a template. You need to fill in the slides with the synonyms. 

To learn about color blue, I used to sing with my students Baby Shark to associate the shark's color with the color blue. Preeschoolers love the song and dance, so it was always a very motivational activity. Once we learned the song, each student made a blue shark's crown.
