This domino is a great way to practice sight words. Students have to be able to read or at least identify the sight words while playing a game. My kids love it and its a fun way to improve their reading!

This workbook is design for students to practice sight words. Sight words are extremely important during the reading process. It provides fluency and better understanding. In this workbook, students have to read, trace, color, search and write every sight words. There are also some reviews along the way to make it more fun and dynamic.

The students toss a stone and jump through the sight words. Once they are standing on the word, they have to make a sentence with it.

I use this worksheet in centers to practice special words like tricky words (or sight words). They chose a word from a list that the teacher writes in the board and write it in the big rectangle on top of the page. Then they write the same word again with their pencil, crayons, color pencils and crayons.

Since this chart needs to be filled in by the children, it can be used for several purposes and levels, such as important concepts in Science or Social Studies, key words, verbs in past tense, sight words, among others. So, you set the purpose, have the children complete the chart, and have a great time playing Bingo!

En esta actividad, los estudiantes pueden aprender a escribir y a leer palabras de alta frecuencia que van aprendiendo cuando se les enseña una nueva letra.
Se diferencian por color las vocales de las consonantes.
El o la docente puede pasarle imágenes para que los estudiantes lean la palabra y luego puedan construirla con material concreto,  finalizando con la escritura.

I personally used this WS for centers to practice specific words, for example tricky words. Each student chose a tricky words and they use it to play tic tac toe (instead of circles and crosses). They can play many times with different words in the same sheet.
