Compare and Contrast
This is how my students learn how to compare and contrast.
I pre-teach some vocabulary (in this case animals), and ask them to choose two animals. Then, they have to group the words according to their similarities or differences.
Once they've learnt how to classify the information, they can start working with more complex sentences.

Objective: Read a text comprehensively and answer questions - Relate problems to their corresponding solution.

This resource can be used as a formative or summative assessment, it depends on what the teacher wants to do. 
It has 2 parts; on the first one, students read a text and answer comprehension questions. On the second part, students have a column with problems, and another one with solutions. They have to relate each problem with its corresponding solution, and match them.

This activity was used to practice the colors in Prekinder. It was used at the end of the class were we review every color learned.

Teacher shows the object in the board and says: Color the eyes blue, color the heart yellow, etc.

If you want to use it for a more advanced level, you can do it without showing the picture by giving direct instructions. For example: Color the bicycle green. So this way, they will have to identify the object and also, the color.
