I used this resource after introducing fact families. We did it as a craft for our bulletin board creating a Fact Family Neighbourhood! Student have to pick 3 numbers that are fact family (I gave them a few options to use)  and write them in the circles on the roof. Then, complete the fact family, color the house and cut it to place it on our bulletin :)

This little cards are very useful for early reading. They have a dot right under each letter and then an arrow all along. The dots are for segmenting sounds, so I tell my students they are buttons and they have to make the sound of the letter when you push them. Once they did all the sounds, they have to blend them while going throughout the arrow. It is very helpful for them to understand the blending and segmenting sound. I printed a few sets of cards, cut them, laminated them and put them together on a ring so they can use them independently in centers or to take home for reinforcement. 

This presentation includes many simple readings. They can be used for aloud reading or reading assessment or as an activity. I presented it and had the students read in silence. Each had to draw in a little whiteboard what the sentence said. After a few minutes, read aloud and check the pictures!

En esta sesión de aprendizaje, exploraremos el tema de los "Quantifiers" (cuantificadores) en inglés. Los cuantificadores son palabras que utilizamos para expresar la cantidad o el alcance de un sustantivo. Son herramientas fundamentales para comunicarnos de manera precisa y efectiva en el idioma inglés.

Durante la presentación en diapositivas, abordaremos diferentes tipos de cuantificadores, como "some", "any", "much", "many", "a few", "a little", entre otros. Aprenderemos cómo utilizarlos correctamente en contextos específicos y cómo pueden afectar la estructura de una oración.

Además, analizaremos ejemplos prácticos y situaciones cotidianas donde los cuantificadores son clave. Estas diapositivas te ayudarán a comprender cómo elegir el cuantificador adecuado según el contexto y el sustantivo al que se refiere.

Después de revisar las diapositivas, pondremos en práctica lo aprendido con una actividad interactiva tipo kahoot. Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de aplicar sus conocimientos en situaciones reales a través de ejercicios y preguntas que los desafiarán a utilizar los cuantificadores de manera precisa y natural.

What a fun game to play! The classic memory match game, only this time, it helps us to work on addition with visual representation and the addition fact.

Instructions for the teacher:
-Print the first 2 pages of dominoes and addition facts to practice sum up to 9.
-Print the 4 pages of dominoes and addition facts to practice sum up to 18.
-I always recommend to cut only the boarders and paste them on construction paper. After that I cut each card and laminate it so they can last.
-Make as much copies as groups of students.
-Keep the cards organize separating them with clips or elastic bands.

Instructions for the game:
-Divide the classroom in groups of 3-4 students, give each group a set of cards.
-The students have to lay all of the cards upside-down on the table and mix them up.
-For deciding on which students start, I usually use different techniques (e.g: the oldest on the group, the one with the closer birthday, the one with fewer siblings, the one with more pets, etc) or they can choose.
-Each turn the student have to pick 2 cards, if they get a matching pair they keep it, and if not, they have to return the cards to the group.

The student with more pairs wins!
