Explica de manera muy clara y entretenida el conteo por agrupación. A los alumnos les queda claro de inmediato lo significativo de contar así y utilizarlo como estrategia en su vida diaria. 

This worksheet is a very entertaining tool to practice addition of one digit addends. The students have to solve the additions and look at the bottom for the color of each result. Then, they have to paint the space of the addition with that color. Fun, and also a way to practice coloring small areas.

Here you will learn how to classify by colors. In this activity I use three colors red, green and blue. First you are going to see how to classify. After that, you will be invited to collect thing of three colors of your choosing (3 things of each color) and using white papers and markes, you will be able to classify.

We paste this file on the students table and it helps them when they want to write or said numbers using hundreds, tens and ones. This gives then more autonomy so the teacher doesn’t have to write them every time it is needed.

This is a material that I use as display on my Math bulletin board when we are working with numbers. I have used it in first and second grade.
