This is a Power Point about Travel Brochures.

The idea is that students get familiarized with the definition and elements they must include in order to reach their advertising aim.

Also, they have to choose a place, think about that place by answering some questions and then finally, write their own travel brochure.

Excelente actividad para estimular la mente de los niños y hacerlos vivir la experiencia de viajar por el mundo.
Podrán crear su propio pasaporte y   ayudar a que  aprendan  sobre los continentes usando el mapa que se encuentra dentro del mismo pasaporte.

OA: Utilizar su conocimiento del inglés en la comprensión y producción de textos orales y escritos breves y claros, con el fin de construir una postura personal crítica en contextos relacionados con sus intereses e inquietudes.

3. Making inferences: Have students guess where that picture is from base on the clues on it (It's the Casa Rosada on Buenos Aires, Argentina). 
4. Giving directions: Phrases for giving people directions. 
5. Play GeoGuessr: Play GeoGuessr with your students and have them give you the directions with the phrases you just learned. 
6. Assignment: Description.

Now ED introduces Irregular Sue! Ed (time traveler), realizes he has no power on the verbs. They can't travel to the past! So it's time to call Irregular Sue. Sue changes the verbs by using her bubble gun. 
You don't need to use all the verbs you see in video, but I like the way irregular verbs are introduced. 

This video is great! It uses a friendly wat to explain past simple. ED is a time traveller who brings verbs to the past. How does he do it?
He just stands next to the verbs and they travel to the past!

This is a project to be done during all the unit of light and sound. The idea is for students to do experiments and discuss them as a class, to discover some properties of light and sound. They also should search for information in different sources (such as videos, Power Points, their notes, books, etc.), in order to complete the flipbook. The flipbook would be a final project, to be delivered at the end of the unit. 

Especially for young learners, this process needs to be very guided and it is important to give constant feedback to students, to evaluate the learning process.
