Este es el primero de 4 actividades acerca del pasado, (pasado simple) viene una breve explicación de qué es y cómo se usa, además de algunos ejemplos, al final viene un juego "El circo" para poder practicar lo aprendido en clase

Hola a todos! A continuación adjunto guía de trabajo basada en el contenido de Simple Past. El objetivo de esta guía es que desarrollen la identificación de una oración en pasado (y de los verbos en pasado), la habilidad escrita, además de poner en práctica los verbos regulares e irregulares. 
La guía adjuntada tiene puntaje máximo de 25, por lo que puede ser una actividad con nota. Al tener pocos ítems, se puede aplicar en una clase de 45 minutos, con la posibilidad de ser modificada, claro está.

You can use this exit ticket to check comprehension of simple past tense. Your students should write a sentence that answers to the question: what did you do yesterday? If this is the first time they use the past, I would suggest to introduce a short list of regular verbs to write the sentences. 

Some students struggle when learning irregular verbs. I know it is important to know the vocabulary. But I would suggest to focus on a small set of verbs. These verbs can be related to the main topic of the unit.

Objective: Identify regular verbs in past tense - Read comprehensively

Depending on the reading level, grade, and level of autonomy of the students, the text can be read aloud by the teacher, students can take turns to read aloud, or it can be read and answered independently.
After reading the story, tell students to look for all the regular verbs in past tense (remind them about the "ed") and circle them.
Then, tell them to answer the questions on the second page. 

I prepared this worksheet to practise listening skills and past simple.
You can start asking: what do these words have in common? They are in the past!
Students have to listen to the song and complete with the words in the box.
