Oral presentation - My Daily Routine

With this chart you can start your English Class (This idea is from AMCO, but the poster is original).

Students can use this to introduce theirselves (name, age and feelings), and also tell the class the day of the week and the weather. 

This project is about Endangered Animals. I used it to work with chilean animals, but you can use it for any endangered animal. 

Give your students the chance to choose their groups of 3-4 friends, and allow them to search information in the library, computers or their home. I did a research on my own, and gave them a piece of paper with some facts, so they can have just in case they did not find everything they needed. 
The idea is to complete the Project and then present it to the rest of the classroom ins groups. Give them some time to practice!

If you decided to do the research of planets that I shared with you, and then make the students do an oral presentation, this is the rubric you should use!

It is a simple rubric that works with speaking aspects, respect and actual work. You can also use the rubric for other purposes!

Esta plantilla les servirá para que los estudiantes co-evalúen a sus compañeros durante una exposición oral. Esta herramienta los ayuda a evaluar objetivamente el trabajo de sus compañeros retroalimentando su presentación. Además, de esta manera los estudiantes mantienen la atención en la presentación debido a su participación activa dentro de esta.

OJO: El archivo está en PDF para que no se desconfigure, pero si lo necesitan en WORD no duden en pedírmelo. 

Durante la unidad de cuidado de las plantas, los y las estudiantes prepararon una presentación oral sobre una planta. Les dejo el guión que debieron completar, para posteriormente exponer.

Una rúbrica de presentación oral es una herramienta que utiliza un conjunto de criterios y niveles de desempeño para evaluar la calidad y efectividad de una presentación oral. Esta rúbrica ayuda al evaluador a ser más objetivo y consistente al momento de evaluar la presentación, así como también brinda al presentador/a una guía clara de las expectativas para la presentación.
