I use this activity as a math center. It is a very simple and fun hands on way to practice counting up to 12. I gave each students a play dough watermelon and a hand full of black beans as seeds. They have to take a card and put the amount of "seeds" of the card on the watermelon. This was a great way for them to count and help them relate amount- number while having fun and working fine motor skills!

This resource worked really good with my class as a math center. I printed and laminated the little barns and gave each student a little plate with raw spaghetti as hay. They had to take a barn and put the amount of "hay" the number is indicating. It was a very fun hands on activity and they had so much fun counting the hay!

You will receive a Power Point in which you will be able to interact and move little black circles to complete the ten frames.

This presentation is to practice or review skip counting. It includes skip counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s. Students have to identify the sequence and choose the correct answer for the missing numbers. I had them write their answer in little whiteboards and then share.

These number puzzles are great for working number order and sequence. My preschoolers were struggling a lot with the number sequence and this puzzles were a fun way to practice it. In this document you will find puzzles with numbers up to 5 and others with numbers up to 10. I printed them, laminated them, cut and ready to reuse as many times as you want!

Incluye 16 diapositivas para contar animales marinos de forma interactiva. Se refuerza el conteo hasta el número 20 y vocabulario de animales marinos en inglés.

Tiene dos niveles (números 1 al 10 y 11 al 20) para que puedan usar según el nivel que estén sus alumnos y/o hij@s. Además si pinchan en el animal marino se remarca en un rectángulo para que sea más fácil saber cuál ya contaron!

Ten frame is the best tool to help students understand counting, addition and substraction. Most importantly, it allows them to practice menthal math and to subitize (instantly see how many of something there is).
With this worksheet students can practice addition with the ten frames. It includes and answer key for them to check their work.
