Este recurso es un ppt en donde confeccioné un juego de memoria con algunas acciones. Lo desarrollé en primer ciclo y en quinto básico con gran éxito, cuando el alumno encuentra la pareja debe decir cómo se dice esa acción en inglés y luego pedir a los estudiantes que escriban una oración utilizando ese verbo. Las tarjetas están compuestas de imágenes de acciones por lo que el estudiante debe decir que acción es y luego todo el curso escribir oraciones en relación a ese verbo.

Hola estimados, les comparto un juego para practicar los colores en inglés. Este juego viene con los colores y también la palabra escrita en inglés. El profesor puede hacer la pregunta What colour is it? y presionar la ficha que el niño escoja, para ello el niño debe señalar un número. La idea es que el estudiante diga qué color es en inglés, si lo dice correctamente el profesor presiona las manitos aplaudiendo y si el niño se  equivoca o no sabe se presionar la bocina. Para que aparezca el nombre del color en palabras, el profesor debe presionar el número de la tarjeta que el estudiante escogió que se encuentra dentro de los círculos pequeños en la parte inferior de la diapositiva, para borrar la palabra se vuelve a presionar el circulo con el número de la tarjeta y se tapa la lámina con el circulo de la tapita de la lámina. Puedes jugar cuantas veces lo desees. Espero les sirva.

¡The classic game of memory match! With this resource you have acces to a set of cards that contains different fractions with their representation. The idea is to cut the borders of the cards, glue them to a piece of paper so it's not seethrough to the students and then cut each fraction. In groups of 3-4 students they have to display the cards upside down so they can't see the fraction, and in turns they get to pick 2 of the cards. If the fractions on both cards are equivalent, they keep the pair and if it's not, they have to put the cards down. The student who gets more pair of cards wins.

What a fun game to play! The classic memory match game, only this time, it helps us to work on addition with visual representation and the addition fact.

Instructions for the teacher:
-Print the first 2 pages of dominoes and addition facts to practice sum up to 9.
-Print the 4 pages of dominoes and addition facts to practice sum up to 18.
-I always recommend to cut only the boarders and paste them on construction paper. After that I cut each card and laminate it so they can last.
-Make as much copies as groups of students.
-Keep the cards organize separating them with clips or elastic bands.

Instructions for the game:
-Divide the classroom in groups of 3-4 students, give each group a set of cards.
-The students have to lay all of the cards upside-down on the table and mix them up.
-For deciding on which students start, I usually use different techniques (e.g: the oldest on the group, the one with the closer birthday, the one with fewer siblings, the one with more pets, etc) or they can choose.
-Each turn the student have to pick 2 cards, if they get a matching pair they keep it, and if not, they have to return the cards to the group.

The student with more pairs wins!

This game is played like the memory match card game that many children are familiar with. It is designed to reinforce their understanding of basic addition.

Set up:
Copy the cards on card stock or paste the sheet on a construction paper so students cannot see through the paper. Cut the cards on the dotted lines.
Laminate the cards, if desired (I recommend it to make them last longer)

Note: Use only the first two pages of cards for addition facts with sums up to 9.
Use all 4 pages of cards for addition facts with sums up to 18.

How to Play:
Lay all of the cards upside-down on the table and mix them up.
Players will try to flip pairs of matching cards (e.g:  The “5+6” card matches the “11” card)

Player 1 flips two cards. If the cards match, he or she gets to keep both cards. If the cards do not match, then the cards are flipped back upside-down.
Then, player 2 gets a turn to try to flip matching cards. Players alternate until all cards have been removed from the game.
When the game is over, the player with the most cards is the winner.
