This is a fun resource to learn the concepts same and different. After the teacher explains each concept and gives some examples, she/he invites the students to complete the girl's face to make it look the same and the cat's face to make it look different. Here I share with you some of my student's drawings.

*I usually use pictures to symbolize concepts or ideas. In the worksheet you will see a pair of identical shoes to  represent same and a pair of unlike socks to represent different.

In this worksheet you will find the same synonyms from the PPT. It is a good way to check comprehension. Students read a word and color all the synonyms they can find on the table. You can also use the same idea to prepare a worksheet with antonyms.

Reflexive Pronouns are used when the object is the same as the subject. For example, in the sentence "he hurt himself", he and himself refer to the same person. Reflexive pronouns are also used for emphasis. In this case, they are referred to as intensive pronouns.

There are two different worksheets based on the same text. In one worksheet, you need to copy and paste the answers in a Venn diagram. In the other worksheet, you have to find the information in the text yourself and write it in a Venn diagram.

This character profile organizer from Pinterest is a great way for students to record any information about the main and secondary characters of the story.
It includes a space for students to describe physically and psychologically the character and their role on the story.

The ants need to find their match! The students should find the antonym and draw lines to match the ants. I used the same vocabulary from the Antonyms PPT.

I wrote this poem to teach the respiratory process. Students should know the main organs: nose, trachea, bronchi and lungs. You can ask them to recite the poem and at the same time, use pictures to show the process.

Something that I found on Pinterest. 
I gave my students a template of a top hat and they had to add as many words as they knew with the same vowel sound. The group with the tallest hat won.
They also had to spell the word or make a sentence with it.

I use this worksheet in centers to practice special words like tricky words (or sight words). They chose a word from a list that the teacher writes in the board and write it in the big rectangle on top of the page. Then they write the same word again with their pencil, crayons, color pencils and crayons.

I made this worksheet as an initial approach for independent reading and writing. In the document you will find 3 versions of the same work, but with different difficulties. I differentiate them according to my student's performance.
