Objective: Understand synonyms as different words that have a similar meaning.

Once they have learnt that synonyms are different words with similar meanings, students apply their knowledge by identifying the synonyms for each word in the chart.

Les dejo una serie de tarjetas que ilustran diferentes ejemplos de sinónimos y antónimos en ingles, con sus respectivas imágenes, para repasar junto con los alumnos los ejemplos vistos en clase.

I use this PPT to introduce synonyms. I try to elicit the meaning of synonyms by giving different examples (not just the ones in the PPT). There is a game the students can play by clicking on the correct answers. If you want to add more commands to the PPT, just use the action buttons. 

In this worksheet you will find the same synonyms from the PPT. It is a good way to check comprehension. Students read a word and color all the synonyms they can find on the table. You can also use the same idea to prepare a worksheet with antonyms.

This fishing game is something like "La pesca milagrosa". The students need to fish the pictures with a wooden (or pencil) rod, a magnet and a paperclip. I did it with synonyms/antonyms, but you can adapt it to phonics, proper/common nouns, etc,

Juego de preguntas ambientado y musicalizado con el circo, que podemos trabajar con los niños para reforzar de una manera didáctica e interactiva el tema de los Sinónimos y Antónimos en Inglés.
Consiste en un juego con 24 preguntas, el niño deberá escoger un numero y este nos llevara a una pregunta sobre el tema, cada una tiene 3 opciones de respuesta, la correcta emite un sonido de alegría y si presionan la incorrecta sonara error y te permitirá seguir participando. Para volver a la carpa con los números se debe hacer click en la nube azul en la parte inferior derecha.

Powerpoint de mi autoria totalmente editable por si deseas agregar/cambiar o trabajar la plantilla con otro tema. Se puede trabajar proyectándola en clase presencial o compartiéndola por clase virtual. (Recuerda que para que la animación funcione correctamente debe estar en modo presentación con diapositivas). These are the circles I used to play synonym twister. Download them and paste them on the floor as it shows in the picture. Then, project the PPT and start playing twister!
The PPT I uploaded it before is a template. You need to fill in the slides with the synonyms.
