This PPT was made to introduce 5WH: what, when, why, where and who. You'll find a short description of each question word and example. There is a game at the end of the PPT.

My students really love this song. It's about 5wh. I like the way they are introduced. "You can't tell a story without 5 wh". This song provides good examples of how to use the wh questions.

This craft activity relates question words with pictures. The students have to cut the pictures and paste them in the petals. Then, they have to write the 5wh in the correct petal. You can use the flowers to decorate the classroom.

When reading, students sometimes have a hard time organizing their ideas about the novel theiy're reading.
With this chart from Pinterest, is so much easier to organize the principal story elements, you can use it to study the novel or even to evaluate it. 

When I taught the vocabulary word windy, I asked my students to think about their hair on windy days. Then, I gave them a straw, paint and this worksheet and asked them to blew, with the straw, the paint. That way we created the boy's/gilr's windy hair.

When we teach English, one of the interesting things to teach our students are traditional celebrations, foods or traditions from native English speaking countries. As we all know, the peanut butter and jelly sandwich is a classic plate from de USA and it's a very easy sandwich that you can prepare with your students.

A fun way to learn the recipe is by singing and dancing the song written by Joan Kan Sing. I assure you that you will sing it and dance it with your students once or twice and you will sing it all day long. I challenge you to prepare this delicious sandwich with your students and have a lot of fun!

Try using this PPT when teaching compund words. First, I start with a brief explanation of what a compound word is. Then, I elicit some examples. Finally, the students see the pictures and try to guess the compound word. You can also try giving them a set of cards and ask them to match them and make as many compound words as they can.
