My students really love this song. It's about 5wh. I like the way they are introduced. "You can't tell a story without 5 wh". This song provides good examples of how to use the wh questions.

Download this exit ticket to check comprehension of question words. The students have to write one question using: what, where, when, why or who. They will also have to circle an emoji depending on how well they understood the lesson.

This craft activity relates question words with pictures. The students have to cut the pictures and paste them in the petals. Then, they have to write the 5wh in the correct petal. You can use the flowers to decorate the classroom.
