Every kid loves christmas. It's their favourite time in the year! I created this activity and they had so much fun. I gave each student one on this books which they had to fill however they wanted. I challenged them to be as creative as possible and we got some pretty fun outcomes! After they were done, they had to color the elf I'm attaching below. We took pictures of each student's face and paste them on top of the elf's face. The book goes pasted on the elf's body, as if he/she was holding it. My kids had a good laugh looking at them as little elfs! Hope you can use it too.

This resource is a scavenger hunt for students to learn about different celebrations we have around the world.
It presents the following challenge:
Milli, the elf, believes that everyone celebrates Christmas. What do you think? We are going to accompany her on a journey through different cultures to find out what kind of celebrations they have and answer this question.
To answer this challenge, students will have 10 cards with a short text explaining different celebrations around the world. At the end of the text there is a question that has the answer in another of the texts.
Students should record the answers and this will give them the clues for the keyword and answer the challenge.
The answer sheet has the presentation of the challenge and you also have a power point presentation. At the end of the presentation you will find 4 slides with some optional reflection questions. If you want to use them, you can ask your students to respond by sharing with a classmate, a group, or by taking notes in their notebook.
The celebrations that students will learn about are as follows:
1. Al-Hijra 2. Ramadan 3. Kwanzaa 4. Chinese New Year 5. Rosh Hashanah 6. New Year's Eve 7. Enkutatash 8. Christmas Diversity 9. Hanukkah 10. Holi
Each text explains what culture or religion celebrates this holiday, at what time of year it is celebrated, what meaning it has and some of the activities that are carried out.

Muy buen recurso, es entretenido y muy versátil, dado que se pueden trabajar muchas áreas con él: si el estudiante lo lee en voz alta se practica pronunciación, luego si se le pide que traduzca la pregunta se practica la comprensión y habilidades de traducción y luego, si se quiere llevar más allá todavía, se puede pedir que el estudiante dé respuestas completas y formule una oración completa para responder.
En este cuento interactivo sobre el Mundo De Nina una Historia De Navidad, los estudiantes podrán leer sobre como Nina prepara su fabulosa fiesta Navidad por ella misma (versión en español aquí). El cuento es completamente animado y interactivo ya que los estudiantes tendrán que observar algunos datos.
