 We are all familiar with how important is for students to develop a sense of metacognition and being aware of their learning process.
TThis chart is very helpful to gather information about the student knowledge about a certain topic, specially at the beginning of studying a new unit.
How to use:
-Print a copy for each student.
-At the beginning of the unit only complete the K and W column: what they know about the new topic and what they wonder.
-After they studied the topic, they can complete the L column of what they'd learned.

This routine has a lot of variations, but this template is from Pinterest.

Hola! hoy les traigo una nueva versión del divertido Juego en powerpont para los niños en el que tendrán que buscar el emoji que no tiene pareja. Este recurso educativo musicalizado con temática de Valentine's day tiene el objetivo de trabajar las habilidades básicas de atención visual, agilidad mental y lateralidad. Son 10 escenarios donde tendrás 20 segundos para encontrarlo y si no lo consigues en ese tiempo, puedes continuar hasta encontrarla.
¡Pon a prueba tu atención! ¿Conseguirás llegar hasta la última fase? Para pasar al siguiente reto debes presionar la flecha ubicada en la parte inferior derecha.
En lo personal antes de continuar también les preguntaba por la pareja de x emoji para trabajar conceptos de orientación espacial y lateralidad.
 
Powerpoint de mi autoria totalmente editable por si deseas agregar/cambiar algo.  Ideal para trabajar antes de iniciar o al finalizar una clase.  (Recuerda que para que la animación funcione debe estar en modo presentación). This resource includes 12 cards with different problems that are solved thorugh addition, substraction of fractions. Others includes the representation of them. It also has an answer gris so the students can write their answers of each card. Is perfect to use on centers. 

This resource is very helpful to introduce equivalent fractions. Print one copy per student so they can paste it on their copybooks. 

More resources to practice addition. In this worksheet you have a bunch of exercises and it finishes with two word problems.
If you need more exercises, you can check the second part of this worksheet.

This resource includes 98 flash cards of addition with one digit addends. They can be used on centers or to play the scoot game.

I recommend to laminate them so they can be reused.

This resource may be used as an assessment, or as a review. In the first part, students must identify the parts of a plant and the parts of a flower, the second part consists of multiple choice questions, and finally, on the last part, students must classify food according to the food group to which they belong and nutrients that they contain. On this last part, there might be some foods that could fit more than one space. I counted all of them as correct.

I will also upload a simpler version of this assessment, which you may want to use for your whole class, or you could use it for students with special need (if you have any in your class).
