PARTS OF A PLANT AND NEEDS ACTIVITY
Con estas diapositivas puedes repasar las partes de la planta y sus necesidades. Útil para usarlo en diapositivas de Google, como tarea, asignación o actividad. La primera plantilla debe armar la planta arrastrando sus partes a la zona correcta del dibujo. La segunda plantilla debe pinchar y arrastrar lo que la planta necesita para sobrevivir.

OA: 
- Identificar distintos tipos de hábitats (bosques, océanos, desiertos, etc.).
- Reconocer las características de cada hábitat y cómo influyen en la vida de los seres vivos que lo habitan.
- Describir cómo las adaptaciones físicas y de comportamiento de los animales les permiten sobrevivir en su entorno natural.

La guía tiene como propósito explorar el entorno natural, con un enfoque especial en la investigación de los hábitats de los animales. A través de actividades prácticas y observacionales, los estudiantes aprenden sobre los diferentes ambientes naturales y cómo los animales se adaptan a ellos para sobrevivir. Two worksheets you can use when introducing weather characteristics and instruments. First, the students have to unscramble the words. Second, they have to read and match each picture with a definition.

CN02 OA13: Measure some weather characteristics by building or using instruments such as wind vane, rain gauge and thermometer. 

Before doing this worksheet, it is suggested that, in a previous class, students can build a rain gauge (you can find a video that explains how to make a rain gauge in the following link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwo2XGBABpY ), so students can really experience the use of this instrument. They really enjoy doing it, and they enjoy even more when they use it and learn how much rain fell during a day or during a week.

On this worksheet, students need to look at the weather, measure some of its characteristics and record it on the worksheet.

Objective: Understand the migration process - Understand Cause and Effect.

After learning about animal migration, students identify three causes of this phenomenon, and write them on the graphic organizer.
This worksheet is also useful to work on cause and effect, and relate this strategy to what students are learning in Science.

After learning about animal migration and about some animals that migrate, students can have fun by searching for these animals on this word search. It is a great activity to have as "extra work" for students who always finish activities earlier and need something else to do while the rest of the class finishes the lesson activities.

CN02 OA10: Identify and compare different states of matter; solid, liquid and gas. 

This idea was taken from Pinterest. Students use any material they have at home, such as cereal, clay, buttons, etc, and paste them to represent how particles look like on each state of matter. Then, they give examples and draw them on the second part of the worksheet.

Use this worksheet as a classroom activity, or as a station activity.
The importance about this topic, is not only to identify which are good or bad habits, but also understand why they are good and why they should be doing them.
