I love craft activities. This is focused on opposites/antonyms but you can try with different topics. The students should follow the instructions (they are short and clear) . They can also work in pairs. Give one cloud to each student and encourage him/her to find a match. Then, they can color the rainbow together and use it to decorate the classroom.

This is good to introduce antonyms. Students will check different examples. It is mainly focused on the vocabulary my students know, but you can adapt it to your own needs.

The ants need to find their match! The students should find the antonym and draw lines to match the ants. I used the same vocabulary from the Antonyms PPT.

The students already know some antonyms. The next step could be asking them to rewrite sentences using opposites. I wrote the opposites, but you can erase them and make it more challenging for your students. You can also remind them to use capital letter at the beginning and a period at the end of a sentence.

Necesitaras
- dos cartoncillos duro
- goma fría (silicona liquida)
- Hojas de colores (pedazos o retazos)
Debes
- colorear cada imagen
- recortar cuidadosamente por el contorno
- pegar cada una sobre hojas de colores para crearle otro borde
- escribir los adjetivos a las imágenes que no lo tienen
cómo armar
- doblar el cartoncillo a la mitad en forma vertical
- pegar el título
- debajo del título pegar los adjetivos
- debajo de cada uno el adjetivo opuesto

 Con esta plantilla podrás reforzar el tema  las palabras opuestas . Imprimir, recortar y  hacer pares de las palabras opuestas.  Tiene una segunda hoja donde escribe sus datos el estudiante.

It's great for practising listening comprehension but also to talk about similarities and differences. The story is about a polar bear and a penguin who live on opposite sides of the world. They are different but they also have some things in common...They live in cold places, they are vertebrates... Try to elicit some more answers from your students!
After your students have listened and discussed about the story, they can write some similarities and differences between Alex and Zina. I'd project it on the board and check the answers together. Since there are not so many similarities in the story, your students will have to use their previous knowledge about the animals.
