  • Number, word number, place value, bar model, addition sentence, ten frames, comparing (<) and count 1 more and 1 less.  
  • Number, word number, place value, bar model, addition sentence, ten frames, comparing (<) and count 5 more and 5 less.

This is a very fun way to introduce pictograph building. Gave each student a little bag of m&m's, skittles, chubis or whatever. Students have to classify them by colors and, according to that, build a pictograph and a bar graph. Then, interpret the data to answer some questions.
