This digital mystery puzzle is the perfect way to get your students to practice the decimal place value in a fun and effective way. Your students will receive 16 exercises with the correct answer. 

As they solve the 16 exercises, they gradually reveal the hidden image. If they answer correctly, the box turns green and a part of the puzzle appears; if they get it wrong, the box turns red and they can try again.

In this resource you will find two sets of numbers to print so the students can play with them. One set is US letter size and the other in half US letter.

How to play:

1.Divide the classroom in groups.

2.Give each group a set of digits from 0 to 9, a comma and a point.

3.Give each group a Number Guide.

4.The team must choose a leader to read the numbers aloud. The leader reads the number and the rest of the team members have to make the number with the digits.

5.If the number is correct, the leader checks it un the Number Guide.

6.The teacher can pick up the Number Guide at the end of the game to check the results.

Another idea of how to play:

1.Divide the classroom in groups.

Cómo jugar:

1.Divide el salón de clase en equipos.

2.Entrégale un set de números del 0 al 9, una coma y un punto a cada equipo.

3.Entrégale una guía de números.

4.El equipo debe elegir un capitán que lea los números en voz alta. El capitán lee el primer número y los demás estudiantes deben formar el número con las tarjetas.

5.Si lo forman bien, el líder lo marca en la guía de números.

6.El docente puede recoger las guías finalizando el juego para ver la cantidad de números que formaron bien.

Otra idea de cómo jugar:

1.Divide el salón de clase en equipos.

In Expanded form you will find numbers like written like this:
