This written assignment could be used for any grammar taught. Every student will receive an image of a non fictional character. One student will receive barbie and another Ken, they must find each other and write a break up letter. After they are done, they must peer review. 

This gallery walk could be used for any vocabulary you need to teach. You have to stick all around the classroom the vocabulary words and students must write in each paper a sentence, image or example. 

This activity with masks is used for any speaking task. You have to print masks and ask students to answer any question by pretending they are the character. It could be fictional or non-fictional characters. 

I used this activity for a character analysis, this could be used for any novel. What really engaged my students at first was the name of the activity. If you want to add more body parts you can or students could think of some.

Este juego lo utilicé para gramática 7mo básico (observé más motivación de los alumnos en este juego que en cualquier otro), utilicé un template de @sisterseducator_ que fue enviado a mi correo y esa diapositiva lo proyecto en el pizarrón. Los alumnos son separados por 2 equipos, leo una frase que puede ser cualquier estructura gramatical (PS, PC, PP, PPC, Will, Going to) Un alumno de un equipo debe responder a que estructura gramatical corresponde y puede poner un post it o poner una cruz con un plumón (usar 2 colores), los demás compañeros del mismo equipo pueden ayudar donde poner el post it. Y así sucesivamente.

Esta actividad la utilicé para repasar una unidad del libro English B para el IB diploma. La unidad menciona a personajes famosos y sus diferencias (Obama, Rosa Parks, deportistas, etc). Los alumnos después buscan online un personaje que ellos consideran importante y que haya tenido un impacto positivo en la sociedad. Esta actividad también sirve para la escritura, lectura y fomentar el trabajo en equipo. 

Esta actividad se puede usar con preguntas de discusión o cualquier pregunta que aparezco en los libros de Inglés. Se fomenta la comunicación entre alumnos y se conocen más entre ellos. Al finalizar la actividad, eligen a su cita.

Utilicé esta actividad para que los alumnos hablen y practiquen Inglés. Muestro un video para que entiendan primero. Cuando comienza la actividad tomo el tiempo (1 minuto), y voy cambiando de diapositivas y así van introduciendo las emociones durante la conversación.

This activity could be used for any vocabulary words. You have to project the image and freeze it. You may have two teams and by turns each student has a flyswatter or mata mosca. You read a definition or say a word, the first person to hit the word wins. 

Se puede usar esta actividad para iniciar alguna clase o para consejo de curso. Los estudiantes pueden hablar sobre lo que les genera estrés y da instancias de reflexión y compartir entre todos lo que sienten y que hacer para no tener ansiedad o estrés.
