Concrete material is always a good idea because children can manipulate and that would help them to relate the number with the quantity. This way it will make it easier for them to count and get the result.

Here you will learn how to classify by colors. In this activity I use three colors red, green and blue. First you are going to see how to classify. After that, you will be invited to collect thing of three colors of your choosing (3 things of each color) and using white papers and markes, you will be able to classify.
